What's your go to way to study for an exam? Whether it's mastering Anatomy and physiology, or even finance related we all study differently. Did you know that people can be auditory, visual, or tactile learners? For myself, I'm a mix of visual and auditory. I love sitting in on lectures and watching Youtube videos of people explaining certain things, and then consolidating this knowledge reading textbooks and writing it down. In terms of exams, while they can be scary reinforcing and quizzing myself on the content is key. Flashcards for example are a really good tool that I use, as well as getting a friend to test me. Another good tool is teaching the content to someone else, even if it's the cat ! Teaching is a really good tool in consolidating knowledge, so I recommend trying it.

Hey there! welcome to my first ever blog post! I thought I'd share the pathway that I've undergone/ aspire to achieve to achieve my dream of becoming a registered audiologist. For people residing in NSW, Australia- in order to become an audiologist you need a bachelors and Master's degree. Personally, I am currently in my third year as a health science student, majoring in clinical science at Western Sydney university. Studying subjects like Anatomy and physiology (while they are very difficult!) will give me the foundational knowledge of the sound system in the body.
